Upward, the Yext Rotational Program, offers a unique opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing technology companies in New York City.
Our mission is to develop future leaders by empowering, mentoring, and enabling participants to innovate and learn across a variety of teams, products, and focus areas.
Throughout this 18-month program, analysts will rotate every six months through participating teams and collaborate on various projects. Each rotation is designed to flex different skills and will challenge participants to think outside of the box in order to achieve success. After completion of the program, analysts will not only walk away with a foundational understanding of the Yext platform and a resume chock-full of hands-on experience but also a chance to interview for a full-time placement at Yext.

What is the Scope of the Program?
At Yext, we believe that it’s crucial to have a firm understanding not only of how our platform and systems work, but also how our clients interact with our products. The first rotation will be in one of our client delivery teams, giving analysts the opportunity to work within the Yext product suite, systems and operations. During this rotation, analysts will be able to work strategically and tactically with some of our largest accounts.
Matching for the second and third rotations will be based on skills, personal interests and career goals. Each rotation will offer you an opportunity to explore another functional area at Yext and expand your skill set.

When will applications for Upward’s seventh class open?
Applications for C7 will open in August 2021.
What qualities make a successful Upward applicant?
Upward is an experienced hire rotational program (1+ years of professional & non-internship experience post-graduation) for professionals who are looking to make an impact at a growing technology company. We are looking for solutions-oriented, self-starters who demonstrate strong leadership skills, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving.
What kind of training is available?
Within your first month of the program, you will participate in a robust onboarding bootcamp alongside other members of your rotational class. This program will provide you with foundational knowledge surrounding Yext’s products, processes, and people. In addition to onboarding, we’ll provide extensive on-the-job training during each rotation. You will have access to all Yext resources, as well as “sidekicks” on each team to ensure you are exposed to all facets of the business.
What is a sidekick?
At the beginning of each rotation, analysts are matched with a member of their current team (i.e. sidekick) to serve as a mentor, provide constructive feedback, and offer continuous career support.
What happens at the end of the program?
Analysts who successfully complete the program and receive positive performance reviews in each rotation will be eligible to interview for permanent placement in a full-time role at Yext.
